The team is made of Kwame Boateng as the CEO and Production Manager, Mrs. Gloria Nyarko Boateng as Director of Sales and Marketing, and 5 other team members who take over quality control, production, store, sales and accounting.

 

Profile: CEO

Mr. Kwame Boateng, a registered pharmacist from Long Island University in the United States of America, founded Zigma Pharmaceuticals Company Ltd.

Having lived and studied in the States, he relocated to his home country Ghana, to start a pharmaceutical company that specialized in the production of Penicillins. Facing numerous challenges, as experienced by most pharmaceutical companies in Ghana and Africa, he decided to divert into the manufacturing of cosmetics. He uses Shea butter, African natural black soap and other natural products as his main raw material base.

With the availability of raw materials: Shea butter and African natural black soap (alata samina), Kwame had the vision to transform some of the numerous Africa’s natural resources into quality finished products that will meet international standards and can compete in the international market.

Profile – Director of Sales

Mrs. Gloria Nyarko Boateng is the Director of Sales. She comes into the company with over 15 years working experience in public service, banking and international organizations. Having completed Chartered Institute of Marketing level 4 course in Marketing at the London School of Marketing, she has worked with various marketing companies before joining Zigma Pharmaceuticals.
